Changes To The Eastern Carolina Ncworks Career Center Operations To Reduce The Spread Of Covid - 19
Current Status
All NCWorks Career Centers in our nine-counties, except the Lenoir County (closed due to the closure of Lenoir Community College) Center are open.
Traffic yesterday (March 16) was normal to slightly down in most locations.
Calls are increasing in most locations as businesses are seeking information and job seekers are determining if we are open or wanting to change their scheduled appointments.
Changed Status - effective at Noon on Wednesday, March 18
The NCWorks Career Centers in Carteret, Craven, Duplin, Onslow and Wayne Counties will be closed to the public to reduce exposure. This is consistent with the most recent Federal guidance to avoid gatherings of no more than 10 people.
Staff will report to the Career Centers and provide virtual support to job seeker and business customers by phone and computer.
